Stayin' Alive on Father's Day!

Well, Father's Day was a blast this year as we danced the night away at Monrovia's Recreation Park. Every Sunday in the summer they have a free concert in the park, so we decided to check it out. Much to our surprise, it was Disco Night with Basix Boogie! We knew Dane would get a kick out of the music and as you'll see in the pictures, he had an incredible time! We brought food and drink and just relaxed on the grass. Dane wouldn't touch the grass, so we had a natural border for him. He couldn't escape!

Take a look at some of the pictures we took that day. We hope you all had a wonderful Father's Day. Be sure to take a look at the new videos to the left. Thanks!

Dad and Dane getting ready to eat.

Dane is enjoying his dinner...of course.

Mike, you look tense. You need to relax.

Mom and Dane enjoying the music.

WRAAAASSSLIN' with MOMMMMY!

On our way home, Dane couldn't stop pointing at everything. He was even using both hands!

He was still excited from the concert. AND dad was doing speed racer, too.

We listened to so much disco that Dane turned into a disco FIEND!

A beautiful California sunset to end the evening.

Dane's a playin' and a swingin' fool!

Welcome back to our little blog of love here. This will just be an update on what we've been doing since Dane's birthday. We've also updated quite a few videos on YouTube, so you'll want to click on the links to the left of this blog to check them out. They're pretty dang cute if I do say so myself.

Also, many of you have asked about Dane's left eye (I call him Dane "Left Eye" Roblee) and why it's constantly gooping up. Yeah, gooping is a word in my dictionary, okay?! So anyway, Dane has had a problem with a blocked tear duct since he was born, but now that he's over a year old we get to have it fixed! Our appointment with the Pediatric Ophthalmologist is tomorrow, so Mike and I are really excited to get that taken care of. It's not a big procedure, but I know many of you have asked us about it, so I wanted to let you know what was up. Yay to not having to wipe goop out of his eye!

Enjoy the following pictures and remember to check out our new videos! Thanks!

Dad and Dane playing in the nursery.

Dane smelling dad's stinky feet!

Mom took Dane to the park for the first time. He loved it!

Of course, he immediately wanted to start on the picnic part of the trip.

After we ate, Dane was happy.

Look at those dimples!

That sweet face...ahhhhhh...

Time to ride the swing for the first time! He loved it!

He was getting used to the force of the swing - his head kept falling backward!

At this point all excitement was being released from his body. He just couldn't take it!

And off with our hats!

Later, Dane showed off some of his style for the camera.
