Stackin' up and Movin' Out!

We've got another update folks! Just want to stay on top of things to prevent those enormous, wow-this-is-way-too-much-stuff blogs. It will make it easier for you, too, if it's not so huge. So, here we go.

Friday
This is a small thing, but a cute thing. Dane has really been into stacking things lately. Anything he can get his hands on, he'll stack 'em. Well, Friday was no exception. He took to stacking some interesting items. This is what I saw when I walked into the kitchen.

I love his face in this picture. He saw me taking the photo, so he quickly stuck his face in the picture to take credit for this masterpiece!

Saturday
This weekend was a good one! Saturday, we joined our friends Kevin, Juliet and Rogan for a trip down to the Wild Animal Park in San Diego. It was a beautiful day and we (I) took lots of pictures! The boys did really well and enjoyed checking out all of the amazing animals and exhibits. I think my personal favorites were the gorillas and the baby elephants. Dane LOVED the gorillas as well. I posted some new videos to the left so you can see what we did in "real time." Here are a few photos from the day. It was hard to pick even this many as there were so many good ones!

The day was just beginning...

There's Kevin!

Juliet and Rogan.

Um, yeah...this is a big park. Where are we going?

The boys were checkin' out the ducks. Dane was trying very hard to make a duck sound. It was pretty funny:)

Strollin' along...Kevin apparently wants world peace.

Just hangin'...that's all...

On the tram to go see the park!

Rogan was a happy boy!

Look at the animals!

Beautiful...

We put the dads to work a little bit.

Here was Dane doing his gorilla impression.

Elephant butts. Nice.

Here are the monkeys just hangin' around. Wait...those are the boys!

I forgot, THIS was Dane's favorite animal.

He was amazed by the owl!

Here are the two boys flirting with the female species - before Dane's fall.

Here's the battered boy and his daddy after his tumble. Poor thing.

He got a giraffe out of the whole thing, so that's nice:)

A picture of his face the next day...nice eye there buckaroo!

Monday
Back to the stacking topic. I was finishing up this very blog when I looked down to see what Dane was trying to show me. He had stacked a tower of sun block! LOL!

Again, note the proud face:)

After seeing this, I should've had a clue and taken them away immediately because this is what followed...

I love our son:)

Have a great week everyone!

Please "Prey" for the Mantis!

It's almost been a month since my last post, so I better get crackin'!

Halloween was amazing this year. What a great time we had dressing Dane up and walking him up and down the street. He was a pumpkin this year, and what a great pumpkin he was! He even let us put his hood on, which never happens. We started the evening at our house and Dane's grandparents, aunts, and some friends came by to trick or treat with him. We collected candy, pictures and lots of laughs. Then we went over to grandma and grandpa's house to eat and watch scary movies. It was a great night! Here are some pictures just to prove it:)

That's the same pumpkin I used when I was a kid!

Erica, Mitrah and Kristy, attempting to dress up. I think Mitrah wins:)

Daddy and Dane, trick or treating!

There's Dane trying to woo Gracie, our next door neighbor's daughter. It didn't work.

Motherload!

Wow, after a great night of trick or treating and candy, Dane was pooped!

Next on the Roblee agenda in late October was a birthday celebration for my mom, Debbie. We had a great time over at her house celebrating and enjoying the day. Dane loved being outside, playing with the dogs and giving everyone besos (kisses). Here are more photos for you to check out...

Some of the gang at the table getting ready for the feast!

Grandma Moggy and Kristy.

WOO HOO! Dane is ready to eat, of course!

Aw...mama's sweet boy:)

Sid chasing his tail, Dane chasing Sid...

There's a picture for the books. Dane giving "B" a beso.

The birthday girl with all her pwesents.

And a beautiful smile to end the evening!

BEEP BEEP B BEEP B BEEP BEEP BEEP B B BEEP - SPECIAL REPORT!
The pictures you are about to see show a "marker" that occurred on or around November 4, 2008. The suspect, Dane Roblee was found with concrete evidence of ink on his hands, feet and clothes. Authorities have released the name of the victim - Sharpie Flipchart. This is the suspect's second offense. Last year in November, he also committed a cute crime in which Mr. Roblee was deemed too cute for words. Finally, a conviction was reached and the suspect pleaded, "ALL DONE!"

If anyone has any information on how to stop Dane from causing any more inkshed, please contact Kristy Roblee at binx18@aol.com. Thank you.

Here is a full length picture of the suspect in what is believed to be the dining room of his Monrovia home.

Here is the suspect trying to keep our cameras from capturing a shot of him before he fled the scene.

The suspect seems to have no remorse at all regarding his actions. Please consider him armed and DANEgerous.
BEEP B BEEP BEEP BEEP B BEEP B BEEP BEEP BEEP B BEEP - END REPORT.
Now back to our program.

On November 9, my sister Erica and I threw a baby shower for our cousin Lindsay. Her baby Kassady Adaire Heublein is due New Year's Eve and we're excited to welcome this new life into our lives. It was a great shower with yummy food, dessert and presents! Congrats, Lindsay - enjoy this last month of sleep! (Pictures to be posted soon)

A couple weeks ago, Dane and I went on a lovely walk, just enjoying the sights and sounds of Stedman Place. We came across two beautiful Preying Mantises on our front porch before our walk. Dane was thrilled to see them and we've seen them here and there since. More to come on that story in a minute. While on our walk, Dane was particularly excited to see some dogs on the way back and he proceeded to try to bark like them. I've posted his "dog whispering" video to the left and it is pretty cute.

Here is Dane trying to figure out what shoes would be best for our walk. I don't think these were the right ones, but it sure looked good!

He found a pine cone!

He was scared of the pine cone.

This tree is hard to climb!

Update on the P-Man story: Just yesterday morning as I was killing some ants on our front porch, I noticed I accidentally killed one of our Preying Mantis friends! In no way did I mean to do this, so I want to say that I'm sorry, P-Man. May you rest in peace and please don't make my loved ones or me come back as a Preying Mantis in the next life!

LAST, BUT NOT LEAST!
Our friends Kevin and Juliet Harper came over for dinner tonight with their son Rogan. He and Dane are getting to be good buds and had a great time. I posted a video of them playing just to show them hanging around and how cute they are. Here are some pics from the night as well:)

Ah, Toy Story.

Well, I know that was a lot to read, but thanks for sticking it out until the end! Some fun things are coming up and we hope you'll keep checking in on us. Thanks a lot for your love!
