A Summary of Sorts...

Well, I have been SO bad with this blog the last month and a half. I'm sure you've all been on the edge of your seats for an update. Anyway, since we've got a lot of stuff coming up and I don't have much time for my usual blog brilliance (ha!), I'm going to do a little summary of the last month and a half. Enjoy!

September

Chicago/San Diego Zoo - Early September, I went to Chicago to see my friends Missy and Marcos Saucedo get hitched! Mitrah Rasti, my bff from high school invited me to be her guest and it was a great time. I don't have any pictures, at least ones that I want to put on the blog! :) While I was gone, Mike took Dane down to San Diego to visit his grandparents, Ralph and Adele, and his uncle Mark. They all went to the zoo and took some great pictures! Check them out...

On the way to the zoo!

Dane's girlfriend:)

Here is Mike taking a picture with a monkey next to a monkey statue. LOL!

Dane's really into fish right now. He loves seeing them swim around!

Hangin' with uncle Mark at Doug and Trish's house.

I'm pooped! After a long day of zoo fun, it was time to head home.

The next day, Dane had fun playing in the horseshoe pit sand in our back yard.

He liked to dump it on his head!

Are those mommies shoes? :)

MMMMMM! Biscetti dinner!

Drivin' the oooooooold Datsun. Look at that piece of work! Aye Dios mio!

Dad, let's get this thing rollin'!

"Gypsy" - Mid-September, Mike and I went to see my sister, Kimberly Nocita in "Gypsy" at the Covina Center for the Performing Arts. She played the role of Dainty June and did an AMAZING job. It got rave reviews, and not only was she mentioned, but she was praised as one of the best parts of the show! YAY KIM!

Look at her do the splits! WOO HOO!

This is my dad as Dainty June. Needless to say, he didn't get quite the reviews Kim did.

He was enthusiastic, though! MOST IMPROVED AWARD, dad! HA!

MOPS - In order to have some mom time with other moms in the area, I joined a group at our church called MOPS, or Mothers of Pre-Schoolers. It's been great for Dane as they have fun activities and snacks for the kids. The moms get to eat breakfast and talk about parenting issues, as well as share in the excitement of what's going on with their children.

October

Kristy's 10 year Reunion - It was a meager turn out at my 10 year reunion this year. Mayfield Senior School reserved a great table at a place called "Mojitos" in Pasadena. Unfortunately, only 17 or 18 girls showed up. Even though it was a small turn out, we still had a nice time chatting and dancing, if you want to call it dancing:) I think you can tell by the pictures that we had a good time!

Last Sunday, we went over to the Nocita house to celebrate Kim's friend Shawn's birthday. We spent the day playing outside and boy, did we get some great pics of Dane!

Is this "Le Tigre," or "Blue Steel?"

This is Dane's latest dancing move!

What's ahead?

Mike has been working tirelessly on the house trying to get it ready for us to rent out. We will hopefully be moving to North County San Diego in the next 6-8 months so Mike can be closer to work and to the ocean. In the meantime, he has been fixing up the back yard, doing a lot of touch up work on the house and working his regular job at Roel! He's been doing such an amazing job - thanks, Mike! I love you!

Well, stay tuned for more Roblee news. This next month is busy, so I'll try and keep up! Don't forget to check out our new videos to the left of this blog. Love you all!
