Well, here's part two. Now, I'm warning you. This blog is probably the longest one yet, so sit back and relax. You can blame my dad and my sister Kim for providing me too many pictures. I just can't choose a few!
The first photos are from Christmas morning in our home, and a couple from Christmas evening as well. We had such a nice morning opening presents. Dane and Mike got some cool stuff, but I think I got the best gift of all. Mike got me a wedding ring since my other one has been missing for a couple years now. I was so ecstatic! Thanks, Mike:)
After our morning at home, we headed over to the Nocita house to celebrate more. We opened so many presents - it was so much fun! I think the favorite of the day was Dane's F150 to match his dad's! He loves to drive it. He's still learning to steer, but he looks so cool going in circles. Hee hee. We also welcomed a new family member that day. My cousin Lindsay brought little Kassady Adair home from the hospital! Congrats, Linds:) It was a great day of eating and enjoying family. My brother-in-law Mark (Mike's brother) even came up from San Diego to spend Christmas with us. What a nice treat!
A week later, we started New Year's Eve off at Keith Brown's birthday party at Lozano's Restaurant. Keith and Denise invited everyone to an AMAZING dinner with great food, libations and of course, awesome people:) Thank you so much and Happy Birthday, Keith!
After the birthday party, we headed back to the Nocita's to meet more friends and family for a New Year's Eve celebration. Boy did we have a blast! We just partied and danced until midnight (well, some stayed up a little later) and then we headed home. Dane obviously knew it was party time. Even though he was supposed to be asleep in the house, he kept yelling at us to come get him! So, he stayed up and partied, too:) It was nice to have him there to give him a big kiss at midnight!
Finally, we peeled ourselves out of bed the next morning to go see the Rose Parade at our friends' house. Kevin and Juliet hosted a lovely gathering at their home on Sierra Madre Blvd., so we ate and drank bloody marys while watching the parade. It was gorgeous weather and we were right on the parade route! What a lovely time we had. Dane and Rogan played together and had a great time, too! By the end of it though, Dane was pooped. He had a long night the night before!
