Bloggety Blog Blog Blog!

What do you get when you have an aunt, a father and a sister who won't stop taking pictures? You get me, sitting in the corner wondering what happened to my youth, and the most enormous blog in the history of the world! Seriously, folks, for Easter alone, I was given three different picture cd's totaling over 450 pictures. This is just ridiculous. After spending two hours just uploading these to the blog, I sure hope you enjoy looking through them. As much as I complain about the overload of pictures, it really is a blast seeing all of these happy faces - some pretty NEW happy faces at that!

We start off this blognormous tale with a few pictures of Dane and Blizzard playing on our bed. These two are just inseparable and have such a fun time playing together. I snapped a few gems while they were rough housing in the morning.

We decided to go to the Eggstravaganza at Pasadena First Church of the Nazarene. It was crazy! There were hundreds of children of all ages there. Dane didn't really care about the egg hunt as much as playing with daddy. There were plastic eggs filled with candy just covering the field. They couldn't keep the kids from starting the egg hunt early, so they just let them go for it! It was funny because Erica, Kim and I were getting more competitive than most of the kids. We wanted Dane to get the eggs he DESERVED, for crying out loud! :) It was a great day and we had a lot of fun.

After the Eggstravaganza, we took Dane over to grandma and grandpa Nocita's house to play with Gunnar, Cooper, Dillon and Kassady while Mike and I laid flooring at Mitrah and Rena's new house. Needless to say, there was so much going on with all of these kids. They had such a good time playing and being silly! The videos and pictures prove that, I think.

On Easter, the craziness really began. So many family members and friends came over to enjoy the fun and feasting! Debbie, Erica and Colleen really put on an amazing meal. Actually, I think Bill smoked a Turkey, too! Oh the joys:) I don't really need to say anything about this day as the photos tell the story well, but it really was such a memorable day for me. Seeing everyone together (well, almost everyone) and enjoying the beautiful day with the kids was an indescribable joy. I hope you all had a great Easter, too!

There are a few more pictures following the Easter ones that I think you'll like. They are just silly ones that I snapped of Dane here and there. Sometimes he just surprises me with what he likes to wear on his head, and his feet for that matter!

I can't tell you how fun it is to be able to share our lives with you all. I do hope you'll write us a little note or email to let us know how you're doing, especially if we haven't seen or heard from you in a while! Also, please be sure to check out our new videos to the left. I've uploaded a good 10 or 12 new videos. Happy Spring and have a wonderful weekend!
