So much time and so little to do! Strike that - reverse it...

Slap my hand! It's been over a month and I haven't updated our blog. Well folks, I'm splitting this one into two parts, yet again. I simply cannot subject you to the cruelty of the photo overload that I've been subjected to by my family. I mean seriously, people, this time I think I had to sift through over 600 photos! Please, if you see Alan Nocita, Kim Nocita, or Colleen Heublein, give them a "love" tap for me. No really.

So, May was a month that overflowed with family, friends and good times. It started off with our surprise 60th birthday party for dad. Most of you know the story, but here's the short and sweet version: There's no way to surprise Al Nocita, UNLESSSSSSS you have Chris Stewart in the picture. She planned a "surprise" party for her 90 year old father at Dalcorp. They planned this party for months, and all the while dad thought it was for her father. This casino night bash was actually for him! So, we had a bunch of people surprise him at his shop and boy was he shocked. I haven't seen that look on my dad's face...well...I never HAVE seen that look! It was awesome. Anyway, he enjoyed a wonderful evening with family and friends and yes, he actually admitted to being surprised. MISSION COMPLETE! There were obviously tons of pictures, but I had to cut it down to only a "few" so I wouldn't "blog" you down. Ha.

The day after the surprise soiree, we celebrated Mother's Day at the Nocita residence. It was a nice, relaxing pool party day and all of the kids were there to play! It was a fantastic time and there were lots of laughs shared by all. I think dad and Kim really captured some amazing moments on camera.

Mike and I decided to go on a little May adventure and take Dane up to a wonderful little place called Chantry Flats. It's up above Sierra Madre in the mountains a few miles. We didn't hike that much since we had Dane in tow, but it was a beautiful day for a trip up there. I snapped a couple pics while we enjoyed the terrain. Mike and I will be doing one of the more challenging hikes on June 20th, so I'll update the blog with those photos then.

I've uploaded a couple more videos for you to see. You can click on the videos to the left of the blog. Stay tuned for the next part in a couple days. Thanks for keeping up with us and we hope you have a great weekend!
